The fee for the out-of-town telegram is 60 yen for the first 10 letters and after that, 10 yen for every 5 letters. As for European telegrams, in Japan, the fee is 30 yen for the first 5 words and after that 7 yen for every word if it’s within the city. The fee for the out-of-town telegram is 60 yen for the first 5 words and 10 yen for each word added.
